I availed of 24-hour nursing services from Sumukha Nursing Services, Bengaluru about two months back through JustDial. Sumukha sent a nurse who would stay at our home 24 hours.
My experience is as follows -
The owner pockets most of the money as much as 50% - I have no issue with that but the problem is that when the nurses know that they have been short-changed, their commitment goes down.
The owner has no control over the nurses he gives - As per agreement, nurses were allowed to go on leave for a day every 2 weeks or we could additionally pay for the holiday. However, the nurse we were given was asking for leave every week even though we were willing to pay which created a huge problem for us - inconvenience in terms of taking holidays on short notice and problems to patient when they have to encounter different nurses frequently. The owner was unable to address this.
The owner is a liar - After our first nurse left on some emergency(!), we were told that the second nurse had completed a 3-year GNM course which we found to be completely untrue. This was because he wanted us to keep paying the 12K/month that we had agreed on earlier for a qualified experienced nurse.
The owner has no customer focus - Once he pockets your "registration" fee of 3, 500/-, his interest level goes down. When we had issues with the nurses and were desperately trying to reach him, he did not take our calls.
