Hi 2 years back I purchased one SUN DIRECT connection by paying 1999/- with a free subscription of 6 months. At the time of taking the connection all 14 Malayalam channels were available, and I have taken the connection coz in my local cable connection only 3-4 channels were available. The fist 6 month everything was perfect. Then starts poor picture quality, scrambled signals, frequent signal loss. When I call the customer care, they ask to contact the dealer for the service. The Technician came and upgraded some software. I thought the problem has solved. after few months again its getting stuck up, frequent signal loss. This time all my favourite channels were missing, like India Vision, WE TV, NDTV Profit, BBC, ET Times Now, CNBC and all.. When I called the customer care, they told me that, to get those channels I need to take other plan or pay separately for those channels. When I ask them, at the time giving the connection you promised all these channels include with this plan and now how you are telling to pay extra for these....they told me that plans may change, which is mentioned in the application form in the application they may write all these by small letters which they want no one to notice.
Now again my connection is not working as a message shows it required software up gradation and ask me contact the dealer, who ll give the service free of cost. When I called the dealer who sold me the connection, he is not responding. And I approached the nearest dealer for the same. He told it ll be chargeable. I told him that as per your customer care person this service/software up gradation is free of cost, the replay is that then I need to get it done by the same person who sold the connection
I totally fedup with connection nd plans to change this service .
