Sunday Holiday is a Romantic comedy movie, a type of movie which will entertain you pretty much all of the time, doesn’t let you bore.
Plot -
A college teacher Unni(Sreenivasan) has affection for movies. As he came to know that a well known director David Paul(Lal Jose) has gotten admitted in the nearby hospital. He grabs this chance to make him read a script written by him. The story was about a man named Amal, who went to Kochi after his love failure and became a salesman there. He rented a room where he had two roommates which were playe by Siddique and Dharmajan. As the story proceeds he gets to know a girl named Anu(Aparana Balamurali). The story progresses with many humorous moments and gags and how the entry of this girl Anu will effect the life of Amal is a pretty nice watch.
Performance -
Asif Ali as Amal has done a great job especially in the aspect of showing off the correct emotions which the character demands. Aparana Balamurali was good with her part Dharmajan’s comic timing was great and he does not let the humor level down. Direction by Jiss Joy was good as of the introduction of the characters was hasty as the movie starts but they were weaved pretty well with the story as it progresses.
Music and Cinematography -
Cinematography by Alex J Pullikkal good enough. Music by Deevak Dev was pretty nice and calming.
Overall a fun watch as the humor in the movie doesnot let you bore, story does not drag and the unpredictable climax will make your time worth a while.
