Saw this on Saturday nite & here’s my view:
Sunday is a story which revolves around a missing Sunday in the life of a girl Sehar(Ayesha Takia). Seher is trying to find out about the happening in her life on a Sunday that she has completely forgotten and she meets the cop A.C.P. Rajveer(Ajay Devgan) who helps her to find out her day.
In the proves of solving a very unusual kind of case the cop meets Ballu(Arshad Warsi) who is a taxi driver and Kumar(Irfan Khan) who is a struggling actor and Ritu(Anjana Sukhani)(Must say she’s really pretty) who is a close friend of Seher. On investigating for the case it is found that Seher is responsible for the killings of a person.
The cop is convinced that Seher is innocent but how will he prove that and how to get the details related to the day Seher couldn’t recall? That is all to be discovered in the story.
The music of the movie is ok ok types.
The start of the movie is really exciting & breezy.
The performance of the actor Ajay Devgan is ok though Arshad steals the show along with Ayesha Takia and Irfan Khan.
The item number done by Esha Deol is great. Looks like she has inherited dancing skills from her mother.
There is no overacting by any1.
The audiences can go to watch the movie with their families and enjoy a comedy and suspense movie.
The movie Sunday by Rohit Shetty is a good package that is having equal amounts of everything fun, comedy, entertainment, music, thrills, suspense and many other needed in a movie that is said to be a good movie.
The script of the movie supported by fine performances from the actors of the movie makes it a enjoyable one to watch with you family.
Its not as gr8 as Chake De or Taare Zaamen Par but still a good 1 time watch.
