I have switched from DTH to Firestick and ever since we are watching live channels/movies on OTT platforms.
We watch Tamil and Kannada and very rarely Telugu content so I opted for Sun NXT subscription where I renew every 90 days. I pay ₹130/90 days and it doesn’t have advertisements.
It has all the live channels which are there in Sun network.
We use it in Firestick, so here is my experience ever since I started using this in January 2021.
Here are the Pros and Cons
PROs
1)Simple and attractive UI
2) I use voice command to select the channel/movie and works perfectly fine.
3)Most of the content I have watched in HD .
4)Latest movies have Dolby audio.
5) I was able to rewind Live channels
CONs
1) Most of the movies I watched didn’t have subtitles.
2)Sometimes while watching certain content in comedy and some movies the app used to crash and come back to Sun NXT home page
3)Programme info was not Displayed in Live channels: Before we were using DTH so they would provide programme name and details of programmes in live channels but now in the app it does not display the details.
Verdict: Overall its good app if you want to watch Kannnada, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali content
