There’s music, then there’s MUSIC. This is an indi-pop album for all those who know the difference! Lucky Ali brings a sincerity to indian pop in a voice that is much in the blues tradition of ’’I sing, therefore I am’’. A good blend of ’medium-pace’ and ’spin’, musically speaking. This album includes that hit song/video ’o sanam’. Only 4 stars though, ’coz the lovely voice is underplayed in the audio-mix, what a shame!

worth listening to. original indian music isn’t dead!
(i must add that his later albums haven’t really taken his music much further. sifar, aks - they sound similar... perhaps it will take some time before he digs out more stuff from inside him)
