Indeed, it was a delight to shop at Spar when I spotted it in Hyderabad almost an year ago. Spar advertise heavily in Bangalore boasting, “ If its not Spar fresh, its not fresh” it’s a USP for Spar to capture the market. It need to adhere to all quality checks to live up to that expectations. However the quality check fails to live up to customer satisfaction when it comes to customer service.
I have seen Spar Hyderabad, deteriorating in couple of months. Not because of its quality, but for the quality of service they deliver. It has slowly degraded its standard, ask me why.
Well the service at the store has gone down to levels. You won’t find a single soul to assist at Spar Hyderabad. The boys working there prefer gossip amongst themselves, instead of helping the customer. They are not seen in the supermarket after crossing three shelves. I could finally spot the guys gossiping at the liquor counter. It seems, employees are not trained sufficient.
They don’t seem to know, where lies what(simply causing inconvenience) To become a BIG BRAND you just can not afford to compromise on the customer service… can you?
