Surat may be known as the Diamond city because of its business turnover but the airport of this city is horrible. It doesn’t even look like an airport but a big junk yard from far. Only air india and one more flight service provider try to reciprocate their operations out there. Unlike the beautiful city the airport disappoints you a lot. Also after landing you need to walk upto the airport and exit. There are no extra facilities which make you feel like an airport. Even smallest cities of india have much better airports than surat. Also being a biggest business hub of gujrat, its not properly connected to other cities of the country.
