Previously known as Capital Kitchen, this place is another outlet of Jaipurs popular Indian cuisine chain Surya Mahal. Location is not difficult to find. Its on the main Amrapali marg, when you turn towards the Amrapali circle. Once again, an only veg restaurant, so you cannot expect much of variety.
The settings are decent and so is the service. Its a family place and Ive got to tell you - either there is a problem with Jaipur families where the children keep running around, or with the restaurant managements who do not stop them. Similar experience I had here.
Food should be the USP of this place, at least I hoped so. Did not quite turn out like that. First I ordered cream of Tomato soup which could have been a lot better. Next, Rawa masala dosa lacked the rawa feel in it. The best part of the meal was the mini meal where they serve a special paneer sabzi with paranthas. The paneer sabzi was so spicy and delicious. Just wow. The drinks too were decent.
So, the verdict would be - decent. Yes, thats it. Nothing extraordinary or great, but its ok to go there if you are hungry or have some cravings for north Indian food.
