Not really good bike. .After a brief lull in the Indian two-wheeler segment, Suzuki Motorcycles India took everyone by surprise when it introduced the Gixxer, a premium 150cc offering with the brawn and the performance to play ball with the best of the established names in its segment. The big gamble has seemingly paid off for the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Japanese manufacturer reports that it has registered a steady 15% sequential increase in their October 2015 sales figures as compared to September 2015.
Additionally, the Gixxer has crossed the mark of 10, 000 units in overall sales. Suzuki Motorcycle sold 35, 936 units in October 2015, including exports, as opposed to 31, 240 units in September 2015, recording a sustained growth in its overall sales.
In a press release, Masayoshi Ito, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycles India, said, ?We are happy that our Gixxer series has crossed 10, 000 units in market sales in October 2015, which is a testimony to its unmatched appeal amongst discerning young customers and also a sign of positive reception to our overall product
