I am using gixxer since march 2015, I am very happy to ride it, its power, control, fuel efficiency is best in class, now I clocked 10000 km, I am not a rash rider, I can get mileage between 50 and 43 km\ltr, its depending my speed(55 and 75/per hour), my weight is 93, so another person can get more than me, I am so enjoying my all rides, and one thing too, its very easy to climbing hills.
I visited athirappilly, malakkapara and nelliyambathi(with pillion), there’s no need shift down gears(very rare to use 3rd, 2 nd and 1st gear).its gear shifting is a little difficult .anyway I am happy on my selection. And here’s I want to say, always I fear about its quality. before my purchase I believe on Suzuki but not now. My friends also saying some issues, maybe its very minor, but its a new product.
I have faced a issue with carburetor, I don’t know what happened(air block while changing from main to reserve), my 2 hours lost on road, and some my friends say they have issue with spark plug, missing and switch quality(me too), but we all love riding with this beast.
(Pillion seat not suitable for long ride - more than 30 km - my opinion)
