I purchased SUZUKI GS150 R last year February. This is the best bike I ever used. Very good pickup and suspension. Smooth to drive and very comfortable for long dive as swell as city drive. It gives very good mileage in between 50-55. I have drove this bike till 120km/hr speed and had many long drives of 250-350 kilometers a day.
Only thing pains is its gear system, but not much and can be easily ignore looking at other features it provides.
But one thing I want to mention it here is that if you want to purchase bike from Pune then do not purchase it from Swarget Suzuki. There is pathetic service they gave. There are lot of complaints I heard about them when I experienced a horrible service. I booked my bike and salesman promised me to deliver it on expected day. When I went to collect my bike, I had to wait for a 2-3 hours just to get someone to show my bike and deliver. Employee working their behaved arrogantly and things wasnt smooth as expected. When my number came, we searched my bike from the parking areas(that time they were using parking area for go-down). This was the first time they tried starting the bike. they hadnt test before they did RTO passing. Bike fails to start. All employee who were doing bike servicing regularly tried their all options to start but they unable to do. Then they called their supervisor. He came and conclude that battery is faulty. They didnt had spare part stock so they picked up any random new bike and removed its battery plugged to mine and checked. Again no success. Then they conclude carburetor is faulty and again did same thing, picked up another bike, removed carburetor from it and plugged to my bike. Bike started but only for 1-2 seconds again down. Till time I had loosed my mind and asked them to give me another bike which is in working state. But they refused as bike was registered on my name and could not be returned. It was totally frustrating moment. I had spend 68K and return thing I got which was even not starting. Next I complained to their main manager but he also behaved arrogantly and refuse to give me replacement. That time I was in state that whatever happen but I dont want this bike. Either give me back my money or replacement. When I told him that I gonna to complain to SUZUKI company then he told that this is not our fault, out of 10, 2 bikes are always faulty and threaten that he has lot of money to drain down my any complain.
I was fighting almost two weeks. Till time they had made my bike in good condition and complain me back about why I am refusing to take delivery when bike is in good condition and tested OK. I checked with consumer court but there is no way to complaint if other party is ready to make bike in good condition. Finally I had no choice but to get the bike.
But believe me that was last time I got chance to complain about this bike. First time I was disappointed but later I was really happy with my choice to buy this bike(I still regret for buying it from Swarget Suzuki). After that I went for scheduled servicing to swarget Suzuki and had same experience with them. They dont care about the customer nor your bike and really very arrogant people. After that I started doing bike servicing from my friends automobile center which was convenient for me and I was assured that he will do all things which are supposed to done in servicing.
I am short and my friends were telling me not to go for this bike. But I never had any problem with hight nor bikes weight. After my feedback my other friends brought the same model and they also have good feedback about it.
