The best bike for smoothest and hi-tech bike lovers of good height and balance. This is now not available in INDIA because of poor marketing and sales -a blunder done by SUZUKI while Bajaj was advertising PULSARS with all its energy.
I have personally driven Pulsar 150-180 and Unicorn 150 but none of them matched this bike for linear acceleration and engine refinement without vibrations above 70KMPH=So I bought this bike and its been eight years+ and my bike is still KING of Hyderabad roads and rides without any hassle whether its about great mileage or great speed and comfort in 6th gear:)
Only headlight focus is not good that can be rectified using additional LED lights on leg guard .
I am getting 55-57 KMPL when I am driving below 4500 RPM at 60 KMPH in 5th-6th gear 80% of the time and rest of the gears for 20% of the time in Hyderabad:)
I would like to suggest SUZUKI TWO WHEELER India to have a look at XBHP forum of GS 150R Ownership thread, they will come to know how badly we want this bike back in market. Suzuki should learn from HONDA on this- they brought back the old UNICORN after huge demand of older model over the newer Unicorn 160.
Overall this bike is amazing beast of technology, ride / build quality, mileage and smoothness!
