Yesterday I received my GS150R from Aryan Suzuki Bangalore. I selected this bike after a long research for more than 1 month. First thing I want to tell you about the engine refinement and smoothness. You can not expect more than this for an bike which is manufactured in India. The engine is butter smooth, to my knowledge its smoother than Unicorn. The second thing I would like to talk about is about the riding comfort and handling, both are to the core level. Earlier I have driven Unicorn, but not to this comfort level. The third one is about the looks. The looks are good but not as good as FZ. This bike doesn’t come under commuter category. It is stylish as well as commuter friendly. Talking about the sixth gear its like 6th wonder. When you run your vehicle in 6th gear you won’t feel that your engine is running, as smooth as its. Now the brakes, the brakes both front and rear are very soft. It wont help you in sudden breaking. May be because its new. I am not sure. Even though the bike is heavy you wont feel the weight when you are on the bike. Even in traffic riding you won’t feel any burden. I am 5.8" and 55KG. Then talking about the head lights, its not powerful. The focus is some where. Need to adjust and check. The only problem I faced is, in 2nd gear at slow speed when releasing or holding the clutch some tak tak sound is coming. Need to check with the service guys. Regarding mileage and other stuffs will update soon.
On 04/01/2011Guys I am facing some problem with my bike. The issue is, bore kit sound. I can hear and feel the piston sound. Already contacted Suzuki dealer. They are not ready to accept my problem. Already left for service for the same issue on 01/01/2011. After service also the issue was not resolved. Today(04/01/2011) I am going to Suzuki showroom. Guys help me.
