I have purchased a GS150R on 18th May. The engine got heated, the second day itself. I felt so bad.
As soon as I noticed this I handed over the machine to the same dealer. The mechanic simply told me all silly excuses and tried to send me back. I spoke with Manager. She received it quite professionally. And when she involved only he took the pain of looking into the problem. The engine oil was not filled completely that left the engine heating up.
They inspected it and added the needed amount of engine oil. And now the engine doesn’t get that heated up. The mechanic’s final word was this engine will get heated up quickly and it will cool down also very quickly. As this is hot summer at present, there will be considerable heating up.
I have got a call from the Suzuki showroom today. They asked me to give my feedback through mail as the showroom guys need to show Suzuki that my problem is solved. They requested me to bring the vehicle to showroom, so that they can verify it again. I am very happy that Suzuki India is following up with the showroom guys for every the complaints.
And this is a terrific bike. I am more than Satisfied with my new GS150R. It is so stable. Even the laziest People give me way when I sound the double horn. The digital guage meter, 6th gear! Even on roads with moderate traffic, I am able to drive in 6th gear. Road Grip is just awesome. And not to mention, it got those Monster looks that I always wanted with my bike.
Done with the second service as well. Very Happy About the bike. And I get a mileage of 48 KMPL. I measured more than once it using Reserve to Reserve readings.
