SUZUKI GS150r "A LONG TRIP BIKE"

Hello Everyone!

I am Deepak, a proud owner of this bike Suzuki GS150r. I bought this bike on Feb 2009 and I have done 20, 000 kms till date. I am 6ft 2" and this is the best bike in terms of comfort any 6 footer can get!

Looks:

C the bike and decide urself!no review needed in this department.

Extra’s:

the tachometer is superb! gear indicator! 3 trip meters and most important of all  the Perfect Shift Indicator(remember the NFS Drag Race)! u have 2 different modes ECO & PWR and yes there is real time difference.

the seat is extra large! So the college guys can have the extra fun doing triple’s.

Performance:

0-60kph is slower than a few 150cc bikes but 0-60 is not the big deal

The power band 60-100 is much faster and u can rev this thing and feel no vibrations.

We did a lot of long drives usually after bunking college of distances 150-250kms and what I found was this is a "PERFECT TOURING BIKE"

I have done a top speed of 121kph and there is no speedo error it was a real 121kph!

The 6th gear is boon and again justifies y I call this a touring bike.

U will achieve top speed in 5th gear and even at 115kph+ there is less vibration than in an apache at 70kph.

Mileage is a decent 42kpl on an average but at a certain point between 10, 000 to 12, 000 it dropped to 35kmpl after I replaced the spark plug(no complaints though) I got 50kmpl initially before I was revving it again.

The fuel tank is again an eye witness stating why this is blah blah blah bike.

Problems:

No problems till 17, 000kms except the mileage dip I told u about.
