Dear reader, I have gone through all the reviews at this site regarding GS150R. I am also short-listed the bike for buying. The really worrying con about the bike I read was the Rusting issue. So many of the present owners extended their concern about the issue. Suzuki India must reassure all the prospective buyers that they have taken appropriate measure for avoiding the repetition of the issue. The application of the paint was not in a technically proven method could have caused the problem. Perhaps they may have had some economical gain while choosing that mode of painting the whole vehicle.
Since the customers are getting away from this bike because of that issue they should quickly act by reassuring the customers that the con has been rectified and corrected by appropriated means. Another issue was the loosening of chain very frequently. I hope that also must have been solved in the meantime. They should take care of the feebleness of the rear-brake issue as well.
For slower speeds one should depend on the rear brake only. If it is not effective that may be a concern too. Being a prospective buyers, I have no doubts to proceed to the purchase of the bike if I am assured that the above cons are rectified thoroughly. Relying the given experiences of existing owners I think I must proceed to my decision of buying the bike provided that I am convinced the above issues are settled.
