My quest started like this: I wanted a reliable bike. Not too expensive, around 60000 with new technology. No petrol waste, very good mileage with more than 12 liters tank
No fancy speedy sporty look (they are commuters, enough lies guys) No front fearing, I like ’em naked with a sitting straight position less than 150kg.
A powerful bike, good pick up Smooth also on highway comfortable on long distances with a self and kick start with a good front bulb with disk brakes front and rear with a good ground level (need to go off road in villages).
I found that only suzuki gs 150r is giving me all this (except the rear disk). The bike is a bit heavy but I don’t feel it really on daily basis - 30kms and still under the max I stated. This is not a city champion, but has much much power to get rid of these smoky trucks in no time, not far behind TVS. The control board is amazing and never seem even on western bikes of that category. Really I think suzuki heard my wishes.
This bike will be a hit in the months to come. Gears are a little bit hard at first. No noise Engine and good response when I needed it. The bike is tall and long, this is what I wanted for me and my bags. Fast in city, take time to reach high speed on highway around 118km/h but what a pleasure riding it. This bike is a camel. around 52-55km/L. Need to test it on the long range.
The overall impression is "this is a strong bike made by a reliable company". My second choice was Zma, but the conception is a bit old now and on long range gears have problems (also with pulsar, this is no more a secret now). Well guys I found my pearl. I don’t like sporty looks so I am happy with it. Its look gives me confidence and that’s what I want for me and my pillion. I don’t like the front. Plastic looks very good, but I like it naked like that of Yam. I want to ride long distances and not be annoyed by trucks, holes, petrol refill. I don’t care if there is no rear disk, it is secure enough and has a very very good price for all these qualities. pics soon.
