Now my Slingshot plus has run 2100 km. Still I love my bike.
Partially it may be because I am 41 years and a smooth rider. I never, never go above 60 km/hour on any reason, and 50 km/hour is my speed of riding a bike.
Partially it may be because I wash/scrub my bike almost every day. Another cause may be that road to office from home and back are really good. But the fact is that my bike is always a part of my body and I evaluate its performance almost every day.
Salient features of my Sling Shot Plus now are the following:-
It is really silent in its 5th gear.
You can ride smoothly in a 20 km/hour speed in its 4th gear.
When going on such a road in 4th gear or above, You’ll hear a smooth air-glider sound similar to a good-condition-maruthi800 from the engine and no other sounds.
Electrical systems except buzzer are perfect. buzzer needs to be replaced, but I don’t mind that when compared to other performances.
Mileage - I haven’t yet checked because I am a comfort lover. Using only’Extra-premium’ of’Speed’ petrol since they have high octane level. Getting fantastic results for this too. Pick-up is excellent. I took the bike from M/S Manikandan Motors, Cochin. Name is relevant here because they did a marvelous service @ 1000 km. The Sales Team took due responsibility to ensure that the first service is through, smooth.
I wanted an extra ladies-handle to be fixed on the left side also.

Hi all, I Jus’ want to note here that I am still using my bike!:-). Still in excellent condition. Though late to respond, I would like to answer to Macho. Pillion ride is good! Say - not excellent! Cuz’ the pillion seat is a bit elevated and the passenger will have a tendency to fall on the Rider on sudden brakes. Still my wife and daughter love travelling on the bike. Important to note here that I maintain my bike in very good condition ever.

Yes, this is September 2015.
Still my bike is Suzuki Slingshot Plus. Did a good number of services since I am savvy to vehicles and wanting to keep the vehicles fit!
I planned to buy an Enfield India Bullet 350; but reluctant to leave my Slingshot plus, I am keeping on postponing the plan.
I’ve got a tufflone polish of 3M also to keep the vehicle shining.
