Do not read below. I am updating this review after riding 30000 kms.
You cannot get parts for ZEUS outside showroom. You have to put a request and wait for days to get the part delivered to you. Worst possible service.
Milege drops to 40 after 20000 kms. low grade inner tank material. it is getting rusted. low grade chain guards which is also getting rusted. poor pickup.
It is one of the failure bike. I am planning to sell this and buy BAJAJ DISCOVER 150 soon.
First of all I would like to thank all mouth shut members for giving honest reviews and helping me to buy the best bike.
i had a TVS VICTOR GL 2003 model which had run 50000 kms and damages here and there. I was looking for a 125 cc good bike as an exchange. I bought SUZUKI ZEUS 2 weeks back by exchanging my victor bike in the exchange offer for on road price 50800, bangalore. I got best exchange rate of 19500. the company is giving free insurance of 1235 and free accessories(helmet, seat and tank covers, buzer, ladies handle) worth rs. 1000.
here are my observations in this 2 week experience with zeus.
zeus has the best 125cc smooth engine. it is a joy riding on zeus.
Easy 5 gears with hassle free gear shifts. unique gear shift indicators are very useful for freshers.
great pick up. zeus can pull 2 adults in 5th gear very easily on flat roads. it can pull medium to small ups in 4, 3 and 2nd gear combination.
I travel 30kms every day in bangalore’s heavy traffic. the worst milege I have got so far is 52 and the best is 59. company says zeus will give beter milege after 2nd service. if it can cross 60 after 2nd service, I am very happy with my zeus.
strong alloy wheels when compared to other 125cc bikes. solid MRF Zapper tyres for excellent road grip.
6.easy self start which never breaks. zeus can start with one kick even during rainy moring hours. The bike can be started in any gear.
eventhough shocks are better when compared to victor, they could have done much better with gas filled shocks.
excellent disc brakes. I was scared by few friends about disc brakes. but zeus disc brakes are too good.
overall there is nothing bad about zeus. it is the ultimate bike.
one final advice to bike buyers.
dont waste your money by going for 150 cc bikes like pulsar, apache, cbz, unicorn etc. you can get sufficent pickup and good milege in zeus and can save min 10000 rs. when compared to 150 cc bikes.
dont waster you money by buying 100 cc bikes and compromise on pick up. no 100 cc bike has good pick up. instead you can buy SUZUKI HEAT since both ZEUS and HEAT engine are same. surprisigly HEAT is available for just 40200 rs. on road bangalore.
