Hi, if you wish to see a film which is free from bollywood masala stuff - I highly recommend this srk -gowarikar film.
The film is about a man enjoying the best of his career at NASA, who comes to India after 12 years in search of his ’’daay ma’. The reality of the rural India gave him the food for thought.
I feel one must think about the society and the famlies over the materliastic comfort. And this film will can give a break. I ask you that , all the running around for money , is of no use if one does not feel peace and happiness within. One must follow , their inner truth to live life happily.
I congratulate Ashutosh for a couragious step of choosing this subject.
I was lucky enough to watch this film at the premier at malad two days before the release. The whole industry was worried about the commercial out come.
I am very happy that people staying out of the country gave the film the green signal of success. This is certainly good for all of us that film makers will come forward to make better films for the masses.
This is not a second film by ashutosh gowarikar. It is second after ’lagaan’. Because before ’lagaan’ he was just another hindi film maker from bollywood.
Now I need to ask one question from this extremly talented film maker - that- why you call this beautiful land scape of satara and pue distric- azamgadh. It is a place in uttar pradesh with a entirely different landscape. This gives a downside to the film, because it looses the autheticity of the film.
I am saying this because this is not some ramgadh of sholay , which was total fantacy.
But do go and watch this beautiful film for the best performance of indian matnee idol- shahrukh khan.
Enjoy the film with your family and kids. It might help them to love the country in some way.
