Like any other movie buff, I too was curious to watch Swades-the much talked abt movie. This film is completely different from the ususl SRK films. Ashutosh ka jawaab nahi! trust ashutosh to make exceptionally amazing, sensible stuff!
The direction is superb!people were waiting for some real good work after lagaan , and ashutosh has produced one. This is a ’gutsy’ movie as SRK says, ’’you need to have loads of guts to make a movie which comes directly from ur heart’’
This movie has many interesting and touching scenes but this particular scene when srk is moved when he encounters a boy selling a glass of water for 25 paisa speaks volumes.
Sharukh Khan has given an impressive performance like he always does, but this time not witha larger than life image. His simple yet NRI looks, his clothes not the usual manish malhotra\karan johar type, add simplicity to his character.
The new lady GAYATRI JOSHI may not be a bombshell but is surely pretty! I personallly feel she’s got a beautiful smile. Her crisp cotton sarees make her a true ’BHARATIYA NARI’.
The music is well appreciated and liked, but A.R.RAHMAN couldn’t create the magic of lagaan. The title track makes us realise our love for our nation. ’yeh taara’ , ’dekho na ’ , and ’ yu hi chala’ are fun.
This movie is not the usual romantic flick. So, all u guys out there who want to watch a different indian film check out ’SWADES’.
This movie arouses in us the feeling of being INDIAN and inspires us to contribute for our motherland.
