HI GUYS
This is a review written after a couple of hearings..........So as any AR rahman track this too will soon make you go mad...........But for now I can tell you something.......this is one soundtrack you must tune your ears to.........and now for the songs............
As in any AR RAHMAN album the tracks are subject oriented......so expect only what you should from an album like this.........The album opens in a very big way with an excellent track..........Yun HI chala......wen I saw the promos I thought ......ok mayb this is a funky song........but then I was wrong......it is simply fabulous........Maybe the only funky song .........
The rest of the songs are melody based..............BUT THAT IS WHERE The REAL TREAT IS......
AAHISTA AAHISTA............takes some time to sink in but once it does it just haunts you .....Same is the case with Dekho NA.............
Yeh Tara does remind you of lagaan but then it is an entirely different track.......Beautifully sung and even more beautifully composed..................AR RAHMAN!!!!!!!!!
YE JO DESH HAI TERA..............RAHMAN croons this one...and nothing more....just listen to it and u’ll know y its one of the best songs of the album............patriotic flavour thoughout but in the most subtle manner.........
And then we hav the Ram leela song .......Pal PALhai bharee...........this is based on the RAMAYANA and very beautifully done.......you feel good after listening to it.........
SAANWARIYA .........man wat a song.........melody at its best and very beautifully doneby arrahman ji............alka yagnik sounds amazing.............the instrumentals are also a great treat for the ears........so finally some really good music after a long time..............
As some reviewer here asked y does rahman do all the period kind of music...........simple.............Only he can do it and the directors simply know it.........Actually wat I find unbelievable is how AR RAHMAN provides music wich simply suits the film........realy amazing........all praises belong to the almighty.........
Just run for this soundtrack.............simply great............
