Swagath restaurant is located in Sector 26 , Madhya marg, Chandigarh and serves good quality North Indian , Chettinad and Chinese food. We have been regular to Swagath from the time it has opened which dates back to quiet a few years now and the best part isthat ever since, they have maintained their quality standards and service standards. We have always had a pleasant experience there.
If ever there has been a dish that we have’nt liked they have always changed it and never given us a chance to go back with a grudge.
I love the appam’s there and their kurkuri bhindi. Methi malai mattar too is great. I’v heard that their non-veg food is fantastic but somehow I have always gone on a day on which we don’t take non-veg so yet to try their chettinad chicken etc.
The pricing is apt. You may not like the decor that much but it does not matter that much because you dont get appam’s anywhere else in Chandigarh.
I highly recommend the appam’s here. It is a must try.
