Switzerland is a place which cannot be defined. It is just as someone has painted a beautiful picture on a canvas. It has been one of the best honeymoon spots across the world. A peaceful and systematic country. The best part is that it is so well connected thru trains that you need not worry. Although the local language is Swiss German there a good number of people who speak English.Travel Switzerland is a bit heavy on the pocket. There is inaccessibilty to Vegeterian food. So for people going out there the most important thing is CARRY READY TO EAT FOOD PACKETS.

The first thing to do in Switzerland is find Accomodation. It is better to stay in Outskirt areas. As it will be less expensive. There is a place called PRATTEL that is just 10 mins from BASEL. It is a good place to find cheap accomodation.  Switzerland is a very safe place so there is no problem in staying in outskirts. The crime rate is too low. People do not steal stuff. even if you forget to pick up your bag anywhere no one picks it up.

Secondly, you should buy a rail pass that is valid till your stray is over. This results in cost cutting and you can board any train or tram or busses in any city in switzerland.

You have to get a map and mark places before you travel. Do not make sudden travel plans as trains should be caught early in the mornings.

People are helpful in case you do not know which places to see sometimes. The day in Switzerland begins at 6.30 am and ends at 7.30 pm. After 7.30 things start to shutdown as temperature gradually soars down.

There are a lot of night clubs open all night in case people want to have refreshments. Some good ones are in Basel, Geneva and Biel/Bienna

Carrying enough warm clothes is strictly recommended. Inner Wears, Jackets, Sweaters, Sport Shoes, Sunglasses, Good pair of Gloves, Good caps(in order to cover the head and the ears)

It is better to have a comfortable pair of shoes as walking has to be done to see places.

Other stuff is too expensive out there. There are things available for a cheaper rate in India as well.

Liquor is available in Mass and the prices are very good.  Things like Paragliding can be done in Interlaken OST.

Ferry can be taken and the best place is Geneva.
