If there is a Heaven on Earth, Undoubtedly Swiss would be God’s Choice ! I have been to this place last march and I think 150 words are too less to describe about this awesome scenic beauty.I recommend all of you to visit this place at least once in your life time and would agree the same with me.
That could be the reason Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge still running in Indian Screens. The place is quite cold and we had a connected flight from Abu-Dhabi to Swiss which took us around 6 hours. On my way to Swiss I met a beautiful lady and spoke to her and thanks to her for letting me know a brief picture about the place and she suggested me to visit the place which is a masterpiece.
We stayed in a hotel called Etap which is 90 Francs per day [ 3000 Rs approx. ] but we can get lots of cheaper cottages out skirts.Our first trip was to the great Alps and I thought the place would be cold however to my surprise it was too sunny on top of the mountain and surprisingly, this place was the top most part in Europe. Well, playing with the ice was fun but we felt hungry and thought would go and taste our traditional food in a hotel which is named as "Bollywood" and had a boufet which includes a "turkey".
The main attraction about the place was not the actual Alps but the journey to get there. I swear, train journey is too good and all you have to do is to get a pass and you can get into any train or tramp ! I always wanted to go to Panoramic express and this is the best place I have been to in Swiss. You can get in to a train travel to STAAD and get out where ever you wish to and spend some time in and out there.
Oh wow ! that beautiful place where we usually see in our movies especially for song sequels is still running in my mind brushing my nostalgic memoirs. Staad is quite cold and its so beautiful that you got to witness it. We had a lamb curry and rice from STAAD and got back from there... In between we found a stream which was ’0’ degree celcious, got out from the train and took a nice bath...
I tell you, it was so damn cold ! But it was really great. Our next visit was to France & the cruise journey was great, bidding bye to the great swiss and travelling to the France almost made us feel a decade more in our life...
