The worst selection Procedure....... I appeared for the second phase after clearing the first phase twice, but I couldn’t find what are these peoples looking for in a student. I ranked 10 in HR stream this year, I was an engineer, I had 2 years of work-ex, still I was shunted out in GD phase. I don’t know why.... I followed all the GD tips set forward by IMS/CL. I was one of the best and most active participant in the GD. I got to know that the students who spoke the least have got selected(Some were even not clear about their ideas). I could recall a girl who didn’t even speak throughout the GD and got selected. It is being said that they select those persons who are not aggressive but does that mean that you shouldn’t speak in the GD or does this mean that you should pay Rs 3.5lac to those people who promise a seat for you at any of the Symbi colleges. Even I got an offer but I refused because I beleived that I will get through the test and the GD/PI phase. I would like to add anoither instance here when I had 10 rank in SIIB test and I was shunted off in GD/PI phase.
