Symphony cooler is a bad product with high initial and recurring cost. The worst part is annual maintenance. You need to be prepared to spend between Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3000 per year in maintenance to own this product.
A motor replacement at around Rs. 2200 per year(burning of motor annually is usual and the company doesn’t support motor repaired from outside which costs around 450 Rs.). Every time the technician will come will take Rs. 400 and would repair only 1 defect and not others. For 2 defects you will need to pay Rs. 800.
The staff is not service oriented. Gives lot of arguments on why Symphony is great even at this maintenance cost and why consumer shall pay this. According to them Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3000 annual spend for this worthless product shall be absolutely fine with the consumer. I have never come across such foolish people in customer service function. The most frustrating part in owning this product.
A very bad experience with their diet cooler range.
I do not recommend anyone to buy this product. It is a hole in pocket. A local made cooler worth 6000 Rs. is 100 times better than Symphony cooler worth 9000 Rs. Moreover the annual maintenance cost difference is also triple. Overall cooling capability of Symphony is much less than a normal assembled cooler.
This is just a fancy looking portable product which does not solve any purpose.
