Symphony Jumbo Jr - Non Jumbo Capacity

Been 2 months since I got Symphony Jumbo Junior and thankfully no major issues so far. So here goes.

Model: Symphony Jumbo Junior

Price: 5100 INR(with bill)

Pros:

  1. Good cooling: The cooling is great for a small/medium sized room(mine is 150 sq feet). Have to switch it off in the mornings when it becomes really cool

  2. Light Weight: Light and can be moved around easily since it is made of plastic, including the fan

  3. Less Noise: The noise levels are quite comfortable

  4. Less Power Consumption: Squeezes a measly 100 watts

Cons:

  1. Water Tank Capacity: This is the biggest/only problem in this cooler. The water tank is sized at 22 litres which is simply not sufficient for an entire night. Lasts for 4 hrs approx if set on High and 6 hrs approx if set on Low. Would have been one of the best coolers in the market had the Water Tank Capacity been set to at least 40 litres.

  2. Water Level Indicator: Could have been better, you can still put in water even after it indicates Full. Mine was screwed on the wrong way(LOL), the service guy fixed it though.

  3. Service: Turtle slow. Took me 1 week to get the service guy’s number and 2 weeks for him to respond

Summary:

If you have a small/medium sized room and don’t mind refilling water frequently, go for Symphony Jumbo Jr. It is a good, value for money cooler apart from the small sized water tank capacity, that is. And just keep cleaning the filters every 2 weeks.
