I happened to visit Szechwan Court last week with a couple of friends. My brother had told me about it and on a Saturday when everywhere else is full, I decided why not try Szechwan Court.
Unfortunately it was full too. We had to wait for 10 minutes and then we were shown to our table. Once seated, we quickly ordered our food. For starters, we called for Salt and Pepper Prawns, Crisp Spring Rolls and Barbeque Pork. The prawns were good, nothing exceptional. The chicken rolls were pathetic but the Pork was delicious, cooked to perfection
For the mains, we called for Stir Fried Tenderloin in black pepper prawns, Sweet and sour pork and some Caramalised Onion Fried Rise. The Tenderloin was the best Chinese style Tenderloin I have eaten so beautifully cooked! The pork I didn’t quite like and the Rice wasn’t great either.
I think barring a few the restaurants serves average dishes. Not a bad experience but not a great one either
