Before I write anything more – if you enjoy your drinks, be
warned, this place is expensive! J
Well, TGIF is ideal for a FUN evening with friends. The
place is decorated in a typical regular hang out manner with a canoe hanging
from the ceiling and memorabilia on the walls. The bar is bustling and the
bartenders will make you any drink you want.
The staff is enthusiastic and friendly. There’s a “Taquila
man” who does rounds with his “holsters” filled with lime and salt shakers and
a bullet strap with shot glasses in it. He sports a sombrero and cheers you on
as you gulp down a large shot of tequila! He even gives you a neck massage –
all in sport!
The snacks are typical American diner stuff – good for non vegetarians
although they do have several vegan delights as well.
A wide variety of cocktails. Do try their “Ultimate”
cocktails – they serve it in these massive glasses and are quite a treat. Personal suggestion: "The ultimate long island iced tea"(it doesn’t have a drop of tea in it.in case you were wondering!)
The music is good, though not in superlatives(they’ve
changed DJs, I’ve heard and I don’t know how it is right now).
The crowd is either party lover variety or just office goers
unwinding after a long day.
