Taal was released in 2000 and its music album was released way before that. According to me, this album is one of the best album created by A. R. Rahman. Lyrics by Anand Bakshi is great. Each songs have been sung by various singers and that makes it more melodious. You don’t feel hearing the same voice when listening to songs. Song Ramta Jogi by Sukhwinder Singh is awesome and is one of my favorite.
Though it has many songs and movie itself is quite big, but it is so well directed by Subhash Ghai that you don’t see how time passes by. Ever few minutes there is a melodious songs and Subhashji has done great job is placing right songs at right places. Song Nahin Samne by Hariharan is just great and it fits just right for the moods and sentiments that were going on in the movie. Also, the music of Beat of Passion is terrific.
