The producers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Waah Waah Kya Baat Hai, Neela Telefilms also produced their third show for SAB TV on Oct 12th 2013, named SAB Khelo SAB Jeeto. It is a first game show on SAB TV, aired on every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm.
He has anchored many game shows before this one, Cyrus Sahukar, who is known for exhibiting superb comic skills, an commendable comic timing and quick wit, has been brought in to host the show. Cyrus, not only hosts the show well but also has been seen as a source of entertainment and motivation for the participants.
What is the game show about?
SAB Khelo SAB Jeeto is a game show in which six families participate in each episode. Each family is a team of four members, these 4 members could be mother-father-children or could even be relatives of each other. Families compulsorily should have atleast one child, between the age of 8 to 15 years. The first round of the show is the Buzzer Round where Cyrus asks one question to all the participants.
The family that buzzes first gets to answer and if the answer is correct the family gets to play a 90 seconds game. The games are always fun and not so difficult. If the family is capable of finishing their task within the given time they win a very interesting gift. They are definitely very lucrative, like ACs, washing machines, television sets and many more such gifts, all of reputed brands. In all, there are six buzzer rounds and six games to be played. Each team can answer as many questions as they want, provided they give correct answers they can play as many games as they want and whoever gets the maximum prizes is declared as the Champion Family at the end of every episode. Every seventh episode is a bumper one where six champion families get to play against each other, the family that wins out of the Champion Families is declared as the Maha Champion Family and wins a Bumper Prize.
What I like about the show?
-Its a complete family entertainment experience can be relished with our entire family.
-SAB TV claims that ‘Asli Mazaa SAB Ke Saath Aata Hai’. The essence of this line is brought up via this new show.
-Families from different backgrounds like Gujrati, Marathi, Punjabi, Muslims, Christians and everybody play together.
-The prize that the families win are very lucrative and of reputed brands.
-The names of the games are very attractive, funny and unique.
What I don’t like about the show?
There aren’t many points to write here but sometimes the games are on the difficult side. The tasks that are given sometimes definitely cannot be done within 90 seconds. Care should be taken about this.
Overall-
There have been many game shows on many different TV channels, some shows are purely for entertainment, some for quick thinking and some to show our physical strengths. But SAB Khelo SAB jeeto is unique because it has all these three elements in it. Thus the show is very entertaining. One of its plus point is that we can enjoy it with our family, by just watching the show or also by participating in it. Good job SAB TV.
