Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah, aired by SabTV, has been of the most popular show in the history of Indian TV serials. The show has been a part of the culture since July 2008 and has gained a lot of fame throughout its journey. With a total of more than 2000 episodes till date, it has never failed to make you laugh.
The story features a bunch of people residing in Gokuldham Society trying to tackle daily struggles and overcome difficulties as a strongly bonded family. The plot is focused on Jethalal Gada, who runs his electronic shop, along with his wife Daya, tries to maintain a healthy environment in their house. Many other residents that include Bhide, a Proud Mahrashtrian teacher, Iyyer, a south indian scientist, Soddhi, a Punjabi car mechanic teach us the primary reason behind ’Unity in Diversity’. Tappu( Jethalal’s son) -Sena, are a bunch of kids playing in the society and trying out mischievous acts. The story is a beautiful mixture of ups and downs faced by the families of the Gokuldham society as a unity.
Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah has also featured appearances of some the greatest Bollywood stars including Salman Khan, Dharmendra, Kareena Kapoor and many others.
A great TV show if you’re in for some fell-of-your-chair laughter. I’d recommend this 5 star show anytime over other comedy serials. A must watch!
