First I would like to congratulate aamir khan, Ishaan(darsheel) and the other crew members for ever making such a spectacular movie ...that would touch one’s heart...
the movie , from the begining to the end is a display of the incredible Creative genius, fear, happiness of a child...
Story:The story is very simple.....a 8 yr old boy who’s unable to read write , , is told that he’s lazy crazy even though he’s not....he’s sent to the boarding school which makes his condition even worse.
he reaches a point where he’s about to break ....but thankfully, Ram shankar, a temporary teacher understands the child’s problem and saves him from trouble...
An Echo from my past:The reason why I connected so emotionally with this movie was because I too faced problems when I was 9 yrs old..
i was made to join
English medium from Kannada medium...everyday was a nightmare, i was tired of telling every teacher , whenever I was asked something in English, that I am from Kannada medium and I am unable to understand English, and I was made to kneel down in each and every period, ,
my maths teacher told me I would never read, write or mount to anything...everyone who were supposed to comfort me, were telling everything except what I wanted to hear....
believe it or not I too had teeth just like ishaan, and everyone in my class troubled me and made me cry all the time....
*Please forgive me if I bored you with my story......
Music: one of the reasons, why this story is so heart touching is because the music is cleverly placed in accordance to the sequence of the movie..Especially the MAA song made me cry so much,
then I realized that I wasn’t the only one who was crying in the theater...
Director:Aamir khan is a visionary, he’s able to feel what the audience feel,
when he was interviewed and was asked if he was nervous, abt the movie, , he said "Obviously"and he said even he didn’t expect the public response to be soo great...
Bottom line: please go and watch this movie if you haven’t done so already, this really can really help the big kids(the parents, teachers) to understand and love the children better...and help in making our country A DEVELOPED ONE...and to understand that every child has it own Uniqueness....
Finally like Ishaan says; THE movie was BINDAAS!!
