Taare Zameen Par - I was slated to watch it on tuesday but then friends arranged a small get-out at one of the newly opened Multiplexes in Delhi. Went it to see with a lot of reluctance as I already had tickets for tuesday, and I wasnt sure wether this movie deserves a second watch or not. Said N Done ... Let’s come to the review !!!
Taare Zameen Par is opposite to its name. The movie is Sky High, out of this world. A simple story though but presented in a Manner which has been never seen in the Indian Celluloid Earlier.
Story:
TZP is the story of Ishaan more than anyone else, Played by [i]Darsheel[/i]. He is a guy who has problems in studies and is a WEAK-AT-Studies child. He is always cussed and taunted which doesnt effect his world. But a step that his father takes, changes his life. Another change in his life comes when the Arts Teached enters his life, who actually gazes the problem in the child and then with his methodical ways, sets everything right for him.
Music:
I never liked the songs as standalone songs but now the songs have a lasting impression on me. Beautifully picturised and realistically picturised songs , ( without any 6 packs or without any Badminton playing Chakkas ).
Direction:
Full Marks to Aamir, He is a perfectionist who has made a perfect film. Something which I havent seen for so long now. Several occasions in the film where the emotions soar and dip. Wonderfully dealt emotional scenes and brilliantly executed screenplay.
Performances:
Darsheel and who else, Darsheel Darsheel and Darsheel. Brillant performance by this lad. Never at a point we feel that this guy hasnt delivered. A brilliant Future Prospects and I just wish that Bollywood doesnt do the same to him as he has done to many good actors. Darsheel deserves All the Awards ever available in India.
Aamir - Do I need to say that He was brilliant?? That is always understood, what is always attached to Aamir’s name is EXCELLENT performance.
Tisca and the rest of the cast - Everyone, Really Everyone in the movie has acted so well, its impossible to poiint a finger at any of the cast member.
Best Scenes : From minute 1 to the last minute. Each n Every frame, each n every second is brilliant.
One scenes I would like to make a special mention about is when Aamir visits the Lad’s parents, He askes them that y did they send ishaan Away. The expression on his face, eyes and body language Is more than 100 % ......
Overall Rating : 1000 on 5 .... ( now the first line makes sense;) )
Taare Zameen par is going in my all time Fav list. A DVD of it will also be a part of my collectors edition. :D:D
