The script lacks the punch

After getting good words of mouth I saw this movie couple of days back. I do consider Aamir movies more real comparatively what we tend to watch now a days.

Well..coming to the movie ..i have to say that it doesn’t match with the hype it has created. The topic was good but some how the script could not do justice with the issue. In the movie Aamir basically picked up the drawing capability of the kid and made him to realize it and then brought it to the parents & the school. In fact Aamir should have found ways & means by which the kid could have understood the numbers & the alphabets. It is basically, understanding the problem and then treating it delicately, keeping in view the child’s emotion & psychology. Thus  I felt the story line to be very simple & straight. I felt that Aamirs presence in the movie is short, rather his  involvement in transformation of the kid could have been more.

The music was very loud except the ’maa’ song. Moreover this multiplex people also think that the viewers are deaf..hence they play the sound so loud.

The cast was good. The kid did an excellent job. I specially liked the expression of the kids Dad. Aamir at some places expressed excessively.

In nutshell the movie is so-so and could have been much better & emotional. ........Forget about the oscars for the time being..
