I will just narrate my experience and leave it to parents to judge the school. I had just been posted to N Delhi and went to this school along with a few others and applied for admission. This I suppose is normal for anyone with transferable job to apply in all schools who say there is a vacancy in a particular class that you desire after all every school takes an entrance test and in a few they interact with parents as well. Here I applied for my son and daughter’s admission and both of them gave the entrance test with many others. I was told two days later both had been selected for admission.
By that time I had got a confirmation from one of the better school for my daughter and I got her admission done there. When I went to deposit admission fees in Tagore International for my son they refused to admit only one. Has anyone heard of this logic.They said they selected my kids as they were siblings. Mind you my kids scored 98% each in the last station in a very reputed school from where I was coming from.Their combined scores could not be the reason for their selection in Tagore International. Had my son written nothing in the entrance test and got 0% and daughter scored 90% would they have considered the combined score of the siblings and admitted them both still. Then where is the logic of denying admission to only one.
I leave the rest to the individual judgement of the parents. As I see it the reason for denial is commercial.
