We had gone to Nepal for our Honey moon and the plan was to spend three nights at Kathmandu at Taj, then five nights at Fish Tail at Pokhra and back for three nights at Kathmandu. When we landed at the Taj, we were given a room which was almost like a dungeon. It was on the ground level with a tall wall just outside. The room smelled badly and was damp with moisture. As we had arrived late in the night after a four hours delay at the Delhi Airport, we were too tired to do anything about it. The next day after a lot of calls to the travel agent, we were finally shifted to a decent room. However the services need a lot to be desired. The Air Conditioning was not working and after 6 calls to the House Keeping did we finally get our hands on a heater. Also to our bad luck, we got there just when their pool & health club was shut down for renovation. The only silver lining of-course was the beautiful stars in the sky which remain forever in the memories.
