One can only brag about visiting one of the 7th wonders of the world. The inventor of this unbelievable monument was shah-jahan who in grief of his wifes demise had the laborers construct this awe-inspiring monument. Legend has it, shahjahan had every laborers arms cut so that they couldnt go on to construct the same kind of monument but actually it is a fake story passed down to every generation like a lullaby to a child. It was a contract agreement which stated that the laborers would not go on to construct the same kind of establishments.
Ok, history aside let me tell how classic my first ever visit to Taj mahal was, or may be not, I cant put down to words how surreal the experience was. Ive always yearned to visit this wonderful monument but to my hectic schedule couldnt arrange the time for same and it was during this weekend when my wish finally came to reality.
Awesome it was, the Taj Mahal ive grown seeing in pictures and on televisions was just at a stones throw from where I stood. Never have I ever been so grateful to life, the majestic piece of art was all real and seemed much more beautiful more than ever now. Deep inside tears of joy were rolling knowing no boundaries to how limitless the beauty of Taj Mahal is. Agra where the TAJ Mahal is situated is itself a familar name to a large base of tourist and also for its famous sweetPETHA . During my visit I also had all the time to devour petha and delicious they were.
Putting all the blathering together Taj Mahal is a wonder that one should atleast visit once in a lifetime.
