School play are better prepared than this...

I am a huge fan of theater, good acting, finer details, good music, and like all the genres alike. A weekend with friends wanted to see some light hearted comedy, so chose this play for the title which calls for a good satirical comedy.

The very second line that the sardarji character said, put me off. it was so even below amateur level. Then what came was a such a blow on whatever hopes left, such poor acting (loud over acting for most part), such poor use of music, uncaptivating character build up (a character was even lift off from a show on SAB TV). On top of that, the whistling and clapping sounds being played in between scenes were so irritating.

In the midst of audience leaving, we resisted it for 30 min (more than most of the people in the auditorium), hoping that something which could come even to the helm of being called good thereat would come up, but when we could not  withstand such blows on our psychology and aesthetic sense (phew), we decided to put an end to the torture we were subjected to.

I am hardly critical to any form of art, but sadly have to say, an under-cooked plot, much below par acting, poor direction. In short if you are flowing with money, have all the spare time in the world, love art way too much.still do not watch it.

Take my word for it. School level plays are way better prepared.
