I had stayed in Taj malabar for 2 nights..and the experience in one word.....HEAVENLY...the hospitality you get...the scenic beauty you get to see...make you feel like heaven. I was staying in tower wing’s 7th floor....from here you get the impression that you are on the water...the hotel is by the back water of arabian sea...i am told from the heritage wing of the hotel you can see the sea...one can’t help but be escatic about the swimming pool...when you see it...you feel like you will swim into the back water from the swimmin pool.....the hotel had taken us for a complimentary trip in their cruise...and the SUNSET on the arabian sea...AMAZING...the cruise would just enter the sea and stay there so that one can see the sun submerfging into the water....even I was lucky to see one dolphin for a fraction of a second....you get to see the biggest fishing net in india...made by chinese...which they have now forgotten how to make (as told by the guide)
in the hotel...pepper restaurant is good..the dolhpin point is also wonderful....another restaurant is the rice boat...here you get all fish preparations.....
only one problem....there was a very bad smell in the lift (me and my wife would hold our breath while moving in the lift)....the room service was also excellent...
all in all...the experience is wonderful..and you get worth of every penny you spend..
