*all in all the tour is a good option to tour europe quickly. Dont take any extra including the lido show all extras are rip offs and in lido show they treat you as 2nd class citizens. I had to fight for 15 min to get decent seating.
Check the baggage in late to get it back early. Dipakbhai (coach driver) is awesome. Great guy very helpful and an exceptional bus driver> shyam the tour manager (helpful & informative) even though people tour from usa can do without his hateful remarks against usa that he publically displays in the bus. He should get a script typed up that he should stick to so he doesnt fumble for words.
He is good and skillful with fluency in various languages and is very accomodating. The cooks are the ’unsung heros’ they work their behinds off to please you and they do a great job. From the time they start providing food they actually provide more than you need. The first two days they will starve you and then they overfeed you. Taj tours should balance it. Maybe they should provide a light snack or pavbhaji or something the first day and a sandwich in the morning the 2nd day of the tour. They use the word "you have to arrange for food yourself for the 1st n 2nd day" well if i had to arrange why am i buying an all inclusive tour.
Options or as taj calls it extra excursions they all suck. It would be nice if they dont rip you off. Knowing that they suck we bought a $100 collesium tour only to find out the total for it is 13 euros which is something to the effect of $26 and time elevator which like 15 euros so it would be about $30 total is $56 they charge you $100.00
Lido, they pile you in a corner and treat you like 2nd class citizens, they serve champagne while the show is going on blocking your view. (the entire theatre gets the chamagne placed on the table prior to them entering the theatre except for us indian originated jokers that pay more to get ill treated) boycott lido . Paris by night is a ferry that the tour managers will entice you into going do not buy their story you sit in the middle.
Our entire coach was assisted by the ferry staff to sit in the middle row and they dont let you stand up not to mention there is no open seating to get a good view of the city from the ferry do not take this. Amit ajwani (from taj tours) had told us not to buy any options and we still got sucked into the scam by our tour manager who said we will miss out.
If you are doing this tour there is two things guaranteed, Great hotel accomodation, great food, great coach (red double decker) from 2nd night’s dinner onwards. Dont waste your money . I also am going to post videos on youtube so if you want to see them give me a shout.*
