"Taken" for sure... Watch It !!

*I don’t know who you are but if you don’t let my daughter go I will find you and I will kill you!

The Plot: **Bryan(Liam Neeson) is a retired officer who lives full-time in the US to be near his beloved 17-year-old daughter Kim(Maggie Grace). His wife Lenore(Famke Janssen) was not happy with him and thus chooses another life partner.

This action packed movie revolves around these three characters. Bryan knows how bad the world outside is because of his last job and thus he wants his daughter, who he loves too much, to be cautious in every move she takes. On the other hand her daughter Kim loves him the same, but probably due to her mother’s demeanor towards Bryan, she believes it’s better to hide some things from him. The story takes a pace from here on out:

Lenore and Kim want Bryan to sign the parental consent Kim needs to take a vacation to Paris with her friend Amanda(Katie Cassidy). Bryan is reluctant to agree, sensing the danger but Lenore tries her best to convince him. Bryan says he will need some time to think about it to which Lenore argues with Bryan for being too cautious as she wants the daughter to go and experience life. Bryan shows up the next day with the signed consent, a pre-paid international cell phone, and some conditions: 1. Bryan must take her to the airport 2. She is to call him when she lands in Paris 3. She is to call him every night and tell him the address and phone number of any new place at which she will be sleeping.

Bryan is depicted as a man of sharp senses and he sure notices the map of Europe with several cities circled in Kim’s baggage. Bryan is angry but it is too late to do anything about it as Kim and her freind are kidnapped the same day by a gang with a tip-off from one of their members who meet the girls the airport. Bryan then follows his daughter in an effort to save her from the people who would sell her in the International market of flesh trade.

My Review: Liam Neeson has done a wonderful job with his acting skills. The storyline and script is crisp and impressive. As I mentioned at the top, I liked the dialogue from Liam when he speaks for the first time to one of the Gang members and says: I don’t know who you are but if you don’t let my daughter go I will find you and I will kill you! Impressive dialogues overall. Impressive actions from Liam considering his age - 57 Yrs:) A must watch movie. Based on family values and importance of relationships I would recommend everyone to watch it atleast once.

Thanks:)
