I applied for my ICICI Homeloan bal transfer through an Agent Loanswala from Powai to LICHFL. The sanction letter had lot of complications during initial process as its a govt org. I applied in the year April 2009 and received sanction letter in Aug with a Top Up of Rs 3lacs.
The documents were not confirmed by the agent to me and again the loan was stuck for disbursement. The agent kept on giving false committments and his patent dialogue of Elephant and its tail. The agent was paid for his fees which was hiked before handing the sanction letter. The loan is not yet disbursed and the agent is not answering the call only keeps on messaging will call back later.
I submitted all the requisite property transfer documents to LICHFL but in Nov the sanction period lapsed. I applied again with the institution and now the sanction letter has been issued but the agent has collected it and have not delivered it to me yet. I am trying to call but the agent is not answering my calls. I have paid 6.5k for franking and notary to this agent which will also lapse after a month now.
I hereby request you all not to trust such agenets and directly approach the financial institutions for your home loan needs.
