Recently I have received a house loan from SBT(State Bank of Travancore).The loan amount is Rs.25, 44, 000.
The processing officers are very worst.They are not giving what are all the charges they are charging for each. For ex. they says for legal opinion lawyer will charge 1, 000 to 1, 500. But the lawyer collected 2, 000 from me.Like the same, the valuation er charge is 1, 000. But he charged 2, 000 for me. First of all they have to give a printed document for each of their processing charges. The charges are depends on the customer. If we are well salaried, they are charging us like anything.They are not giving any explanation to the us.
Before the release of the first payment, they got Rs.5, 000 and 1, 100 worth of stamp papers from me. After that we have completed the registration and received the full amount.Now they asked me to do the mortgage of the house to them. For that, again they asked me to give another Rs.5, 000 and 1, 100 DD. As I have already given the stamp papers for the same value, I asked them why I have to give it again. They said, as per new rule, for the loan amount more than 25, 00, 000, the borrower has to give 6, 100 more for the mortgage and all.I wants to know, whether is it true or whats the actual behind this. Can anyone clear this?And the processing officers are not giving any explanations. They are worst.
