I had sent my Ford Figo to Talera Ford service center, Wagholi in Pune, service last year. I had asked for A/C disinfection along with normal service as air throw was appearing a bit low, although cooling was fine.
I was initially told that the car will be serviced & delivered on the same day. However, later I was told that they will only be able to complete & service on the next day.
When I went to inspect & collect my car today, I was shocked to see that the A/C was now not working at all & there was a very clear audible noise of leakage coming from A/C, which was not there when car was sent for servicing. When I asked the supervisor & his senior they did not accept their mistake or damage done to the car.
After complaining to Ford Customer Care, Manager from Talera called up & assured to service in future . though I still had to pay out almost 6000 extra to get A/C repaired.
I sent my car again to them for service this years on assurance from their manager last year & their staff this time. This time again I was told that it will take over 1 day to get service done. If they can’t service it same day then why do they book the service & get car picked up. Any way I still gave a go ahead to the service. But to my horror, the next day the supervisor called me up & gave me a big list of all sort of problems in my car which included, leakage in both shock absorbers, hole in steering hose pipe, worn bushes of breaks, faulty vipers & some other issues as well with an expected bill of over Rs. 19000. I am really amazed as to how come a car which has ran only around 5000 kms in last 1 year & just 28000 Kms in total, can develop so many problems suddenly & I never felt this while driving, especially when the car has not gone out of city at any time.
Now I have lost complete trust in dealer & Ford as a company. I suspect that these parts have been deliberately changed & told that they are faulty.
Its better to get you car services at any local service center then give it to Talera. Rather better to not buy Ford car at all if you are living in Pune as there are hardly any authorised service centers apart from Talera & Planet.
