Stephen King never lets me down!

I just finished reading the Talisman for the second time. It’s amazing how well written it is - you could actually believe that a twelve year old boy was telling you the story. Although it is over 650 pages, I finished it within two weeks. I couldn’t stop reading. Every spare minute I could find I read. I set the timer on the stove so I wouldn’t burn supper, and I read while I ate (rude, I know, but I couldn’t help it).

The book wasn’t as gory as most of King’s other books, which was fine by me, but I don’t mind reading the gore because that’s just a part of the story; it isn’t the whole story. I always hate to see the end of a book. There’s characters in this book that you fall in love with, and there’s characters in here that you love to hate.

I have yet to read a Stephen King book that I could put down and forget about. Stephen King is the reason I am so glad I learned to read. Keep writing!
