Worth a watch!

This movie is recommended to anyone and everyone who has followed or not followed the Arushi Talwar murder case. The movie highlights some very crucial details that were overlooked(mostly deliberately) in the case. That we owe the parents an apology for being so judgemental.

The movie has a fine cast with the likes of Irrfan Khan and Konkona Sen, the actors have done total justice to their roles.

Come with a clear mind and do not leave your brains at home, for you will need it to connect the pointers and also understand the complex case. The movie has its share of twists and turns. No question that arises in your mind goes unanswered. Shows two approaches, one where a trail of clues leads you to the criminal and another where you’ve decided who the criminal is and then look for suitable clues. The evidences provided to convict parents of the crime were insufficient yet they were proven guilty to set an example. Talvar gives out a good message - "better to let the criminals go than convict the innocent"

The movie is very well directed and with a sensitivity that is required for something so volatile. Fabulous work by Meghna Gulzar and Vishal Bhardwaj who’ve done their homework / research pretty well. It’s meant for the smart audience. Not a CID episode or some fictitious murder mystery but a mystery that is 70-80% non-fiction(as said by Arun Kumar, CBI officer, in his interview). Movie deserves a recognition and the case needs to be reopened.
