I want to bring to notice the poor service being provided by Talwar Hyundai in Hyderbad.We a group of 4 colleagues went to buy Hyundai Santro LPG model from Talwar Hyundai and finalized on GL LPG Santro model.We paid the down payment of 1.5 lacs(except the loan amount) on 24th Dec 2008.We were told we will be getting the cars in couple of days.When we enquired back after couple of days, Talwar Hyundai told that company itself doesnt have GL LPG model cars, so they cannot provide us with those cars.They said they will be able to give new model cars(2009 model) at the new price or else take Petrol Santro.We told them that a committment was made to us for giving those GL LPG models for which they there Senior Manager said that he cannot do anything.The Senior Manager was not ready to provide any help, he just was plainly refusing that he cannot give the cars.I guess all this drama was done as we came to know that the new 2009 GL LPG price was increased from 2008 model.
We came back and complained about this to Hyundai the next day that was I guess 30 or 31 st Dec 2008.Suddendly the day after we put complaint to Hyundai, the sales representative from Talwar Hyundai called us and said the company has released some 2008 model cars(looks like the company now manufactured 4 cars just for us!).He told we will be getting the cars in 4-5 days time.When we asked about the cars again, they came up with new story mentioning only 2 GL LPG cars are there and rest 2 people have to take GLS LPG model( 1 person from our group had to drop bcoz of this).On agreeing on that, he again said our cars will come by 9 th Jan 2009.When I called up on 9th Jan, I was given some new excuse mentioning bcoz of Truck strike it is delayed.He told us that the Truck carrying Car was only 4 hrs away from Hyderabad and will soon reach here.I called them again on 12th jan or 13th jan when the Truck strike got over and this time a new excuse came up that bcoz of Sankranti festival Trucks are not moving and we will get cars after Sankranti.Till today we havent got our cars(its 15th Jan 2009, day after Sankranti).Suddenly today morning(15th Jan 2009)Hyundai Customer Care called one of my colleagues and asked about whether we got cars or not.When he said no, the customer care said they will put the case to their senior management.Within 10 minutes of that call, the Sales Representative from Talwar Hyundai called my colleague and said his car is ready(GLS LPG) and the other 2 GL LPG models have not come.He asked my colleague to close the complaint(which he obviously didnt).
Its been already 3 weeks since we have paid the money to Talwar Hyundai but we are yet to receive cars.I would suggest people not to get into their initial talks and better go to some other genuine Delaers.Talwar Hyundai has lost our faith and I would not recomment it to anyone.Please feel free to contact me in case anyone wants more details.
